The Morrison gallery is a luxurious home for fine art with its floor to ceiling windows allowing the works and the visitors to be bathed in a life giving stream of natural light, its spacious halls allowing the exhibition of monumental works, whilst drawing you into a level of intimacy with some smaller works of art and sketches.
The gallery is based in Kent, Connecticut, and was opened in 1999 by William Morrison. Its current residents include Cleve Gray, Wolf Kahn, Peter Woytuk, Hugh O’Donnell, Alexander Liberman, Michael Steiner, and Robert Andrew Parker.
To add a certain je ne sais quoi to openings and receptions the Morrison gallery often has live jazz playing; and as a special gesture of hospitality has an apartment for visiting artist and clients.
Receptions at the Morrison gallery are a highlight on the cultural calendar.
